Nolan Associates have been appointed as Structural and Civil Engineers for the Dice Blocks Uxbridge by Galliford Try.
This project is the latest phase of the wider regeneration at the former RAF Uxbridge base for developer St Modwen. Galliford Try has been appointed main contractor to deliver the residential development at the St Andrew’s Park, a new 1,300-home community.
The development includes 105 luxury apartments are spread over 7 blocks. Blocks are 3 or 4 storeys in loadbearing masonry. Most blocks feature a podium level transfer structure.
The building features two underground car parks created by permanent sheet piled walls. The building have piled foundations due to the poor ground.
Tim Seddon, Regional Director for London and the South East at St Modwen, said: “This is a very significant stage for us and the project as we are developing this site ourselves rather than selling on the plots of land. “We will have a wide variety of homes offering something for everyone with some to be sold and some to be privately rented.”
