This development is built on a reclaimed steelworks site. The clear span steel framed curved roof building was designed to house a call centre operation. The plan form was 160m x 45m and the height was up to 13m to eaves, with internal mezzanine structures and features steelwork for break out areas.
The structural ground solution was for re-compaction of the remediated ground, then traditional foundations and ground bearing floor slab.
